Specific Skills
  • South African Citizen
  • Basic understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365 administration
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Experience or exposure to UniFi network systems
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
 
Responsible For
  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and networking
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
  • Assist with user account setup and management in Office 365 and Active Directory
  • Monitor and maintain UniFi network devices, including access points, switches, and security gateways
  • Support IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments
  • Maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment and supplies
  • Document technical procedures and solutions for internal knowledge base
  • Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or IT management as needed
Educational Requirements
  • Grade 12 Qualification
  • CompTIA A+ or similar certification
