Curriculum

Fourways High School, as part of the Gauteng Department of Education, follows the CAPS curriculum.

A National Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) is a single, comprehensive, and concise policy document introduced by the Department of Basic Education for all the subjects listed in the National Curriculum Statement for Grades R – 12. CAPS gives detailed guidance for teachers on what they should teach and how to assess.

The GDE has announced that the application period for admission to Grade 8 in 2025 will be from 11 July - 12 August 2024.
