    Admissions

    As stipulated in the South African Schools Act of 1996, all children between the ages of 7 and 15 are compelled to attend school.

    Parents and guardians should ensure that all learners of this age are registered to go to school and that their children attend school regularly.

    It is the responsibility of every parent and guardian to ensure that their children are registered for the following year, well before the end of the current school year. Parents may register children who are supposed to start school next year, within the school feeder zone, between April and October of each year.

    Please note that placement is prioritised for applicants with home addresses closest to the school within the feeder zone.

    Admissions are based on the criteria as set by the Gauteng Department of Education.

    Admissions Regulation 2019 as Amended provides the preference order of Admissions as:

    1. The applicant learner’s place of residence is closest to the school within the feeder zone;
    2. The applicant learner has a sibling attending the school;
    3. The place of employment of at least one of the applicant learner’s parents is within the feeder zone of the school;
    4. The applicant learner’s place of residence is within a 30-kilometre radius of the school; or
    5. The applicant learner’s place of residence is beyond a 30-kilometre radius of the school

    For more information, please go to https://www.gdeadmissions.gov.za/

    Applications for Grade 8 2025 have now closed. Placement offers will be sent to parents of approved applicants in line with Admissions Regulations, prioritising home address within school feeder zone and up to capacity of the school. Please be advised that ALL offers are approved and sent via the GDE and not the school.

    NB: The provision of falsified information could lead to legal action being taken against the applicant and possibly disqualify the application at the school.
