Educational Psychologist
Overview
Fourways High School is looking for an Educational Psychologist to join our team. You will identify cognitive, behavioural, emotional, and social factors affecting students’ personal development to subsequently provide emotional care and interventions to support our students' holistic growth.
Specific Skills
We are Looking for Someone Who:
- Applies psychological and therapeutic perspectives to enhance learners’ emotional skills and
- Has strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, colleagues, and
- Work in collaboration and assist senior educational
- Upholds ethical principles in all
- Possesses effective time management and administrative
- Has a positive attitude towards change and
Responsible For
- Provide individual emotional support to high school
- To meet with parents when needed to provide systemic support to students and their
- Assist with crisis management for students needing
- Collaborate with the school-based support team to ensure student
- Coordinate and present mental health workshops.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare

Educational Requirements
- Holds a relevant Master's Degree in Educational Psychology or a BPsych
- Is registered with the HPCSA as a Psychologist or 2nd Year Masters student in Educational Psychology
- Has at least one year of relevant experience.
