From the Principal's Desk
Dear Parents, Guardians, Staff and Students
As we close this term, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the parents’ and guardians’ unwavering support. Your commitment to your children’s education and your dedication to our school community have been invaluable. Your support of our staff and your timely payment of school fees have ensured the smooth operation of our school.
Our students have once again demonstrated their exceptional abilities. Their hard work and dedication in academics, cultural activities, sports, and service have made us incredibly proud. We commend them for their achievements and encourage them to continue striving for excellence.
I would like to remind you of the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). Please ensure that you attend as your presence is crucial to maintain a quorum. The Term 3 reports will be available for signing and collection at the AGM.
Regarding the Basic Education Laws Amendment Act (BELA), I understand that there may be some concerns. I want to assure you that these laws do not have a significant impact on the day-to-day delivery of the curriculum. Our school remains committed to providing a high-quality education and maintaining the highest standards.
I would also like to express my appreciation to our dedicated staff, both academic and support. Their hard work and commitment to our students have contributed significantly to their success.
As we enter the school holidays, I encourage all students to rest and recharge. However, I would like to remind our Grade 12 students that their final examinations are fast approaching. Please ensure that you continue to revise and prepare for these important exams.
Thank you again for your continued support.

Rivals with a Cause Fundraise a huge success
Fourways High was very proud to hand over a donation cheque to Melanie Nel of South African Guide-Dogs Association for the Blind, our chosen charity for this year’s #rivalswithacause initiative with Bryanston High School South Africa.
We are thrilled to announce that between the two schools, we managed to raise R34 500 for this “pawsome” cause!
We were joined at assembly by Melanie and puppy raiser Angel Conradie, along with the two special guests of honour, guide-dogs-in-training Solo and little Cami.
Thank you to everyone who donated money, time and effort to make this possible!
